I am an Assistant Member and the Director of PET Radiochemistry at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. I am a radiochemist with over 10 years of experience investigating novel PET radiopharmaceuticals in cancer imaging and have been at the forefront of research on pancreas beta-cell and breast cancer PET imaging, and have developed 3 independent INDs for clinical investigations. I currently direct the PET radiochemistry Lab at Moffitt Cancer Center and oversee all pre-clinic and clinical PET tracer products for cancer PET imaging research. My major research focus is on developing PET molecular imaging for measuring immune function in vivo. This research area has a lot of room for development, and there are great prospects for synthesizing new imaging tracers that will be very useful in diagnosis and treatment of cancer and its response to immune therapy.
